Paula Matie Jarosz OP (Racine) returned to the Divine Artist. She was a long-time and loyal member of DIA and served on the 2016 Gathering Planning Commission. Who could ever forget the Gala entertainment at that Gathering? Paula Marie was also a member of the Planning Commission for the 2020 Gathering that had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Paula Marie would be the first person to tell you that she was not a painter, musician, sculptor etc but she definitely supported the art of her fellow DIA members. When arriving at a Gathering, she greeted everyone with her beautiful smile. When reviewing our work, either through the Virtual Gallery or that displayed in the Marketplace, she always expressed how beautiful it was and never hesitated to encourage us to keep up the good work. Paula Marie was the epitome of a DIA Supporter and she will be sorely missed.
At our 2011 Gathering, Paula Marie, along with Mary Ellen Paulson, was the recipient of the DIA Spirit Recognition Award which acknowledges significant service to DIA in the spirit of its mission.
Let us hold Paula Marie, her Racine Dominican Family, and the Jarosz family in a hammock of prayer, love and support as they travel this path in the journey of life.
